Yonkers Arts Gala & Fundraiser
Yonkers Arts invites you to our 2nd Gala & Masquerade Fundraiser. June 7th, 2024, will be an evening of celebration; bringing together artists, civic leaders, patrons, and community members as we commit to our goal. Building Legacy!
The evening will be an opportunity to commemorate our community impact thus far while establishing the groundwork now do even more in the future. As an organization, we pride ourselves on providing engaging programming for our community, beautifying our city, and distributing resources to promote economic development.
Let's Make a Play - Week 2
Yonkers Arts is collaborating with the Yonkers Youth Bureau & Let’s Make a Play to offer a 6-week playwriting program at the Nodine Hill Community Center.
This immersive program teaches participants the intricacies of developing a play and guides them through writing their own 10-minute play!

Let's Make a Play - Week 1
Yonkers Arts is collaborating with the Yonkers Youth Bureau & Let’s Make a Play to offer a 6-week playwriting program at the Nodine Hill Community Center.
This immersive program teaches participants the intricacies of developing a play and guides them through writing their own 10-minute play!

Yonkers Boys Wear Ties Too
Pamela’s Big Heart Foundation will be hosting their annual Yonkers Boys Wear Ties Too mentorship luncheon at the Yonkers Arts Project Space on Saturday, April 20th. This event provides an opportunitiy for youth to be mentored by community leaders, provides resources to the youth, and treats them to a special lunch.

Yonkers Arts is excited to partner with the Yonkers Youth Bureau to offer ‘Finding Your Voice’.
Finding Your Voice is a workshop designed to advance students ability to organize their thoughts and express them vocally or on page through poetry or creative writing. Each session students will be guided in an open discussion on topics relatable to their everyday lives. Students will be encouraged to explore solutions to their problems, while being prompted through the arts to find positive ways to express their concerns.

Reflections: The Past, Present and Future of Black Excellence Opening Reception
Yonkers Arts is excited to announce our partnership with Bold Art Society for “Reflections: The Past, Present and Future of Black Excellence”. This exhibition will feature the remarkable works of Ajamu Kojo and Chet Gold, whose profound artworks captures the essence of Black Excellence through the lens of history, the vibrancy of the present and the boundless possibilities of the future.
Join us on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 from 6pm to 9pm for the Opening Reception of what promises to be an insightul exhibition.
The exhibition runs from February 3rd, 2024 to April 5th, 2024.

We're inviting our fellow Community organizations and nonprofits, startups|small businesses|entrepreneurs, financial, and educational institutions to experience the Yonkers Arts Project Space, the DMX tribute exhibition, and a great environment full of amazing individuals here in the community.

Let Me Fly: a DMX Tribute Exhibition Opening Reception
Join us in celebrating the life, music, impact, and enduring legacy of the late and legendary rapper, DMX, through a tribute art exhibition like no other on Friday, November 3rd from 6pm-9pm.
Halloween Flashmob Rehearsal
Yonkers Arts will be hosting two flashmobs in the City of Yonkers on Halloween! We’re keeping the locations under wraps for now, but we’re excited about this project and hope you will be too!
Rehearsals will take place on Fridays in October at the Yonkers Arts Project Space:

Fall Arts Festival at CMAD
Yonkers Arts in collaboration with Simple Motive Brewing is bringing you the first annual Fall Arts Festival at CMAD.
Here’s what you can expect:
Food and Art Vendors: savor delicious cuisine from local food vendors and shop for unique, handmade arts and crafts from local vendors.
Art Demonstrations: experience live and interactive art demonstrations.
Live Music: enjoy live musical performances.
YOHO Open Studio preview: get to experience the studios of some of your favorite YOHO artists.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Westchester.
