Her exhibitions and larger scale public works have consistently met with rave reviews. The fall of 2003 welcomed the opening of a sculpture park on the Hudson River waterfront in Yonkers. In 2005 “Muhheakantuck”, an MTA Arts for Transit commission, two/ seventy foot cast aluminum waves, charting the original borders of the Sawmill River. In 2007 Barbara created Artrucks, transforming 6 garbage trucks with artist-designed vinyl wraps promoting environmental awareness. Currently Barbara is a consultant for the City of Yonkers, and works in her Parkhill studio creating new works from stone.</p>

Her quest for a job in the arts ultimately led her to a successful and enjoyable career in graphic design. She continues to paint in acrylic, oils and watercolor, and has had work shown in galleries and art fairs in Westchester. Teresa also started a mural and decorative painting business in 2002. Her murals have been painted in residences, businesses, and theatres around the tri-state area, as well as in all three branches of the Yonkers Public Library.</p>
