Mission Statement
The mission of Yonkers Arts is to advance and sustain the arts for and in the City of Yonkers.
Goals
- To promote the arts in the City of Yonkers by encouraging the public and private sectors to support the City’s artists, arts and cultural organizations.
- To develop a strong, effective and cooperative network of artists, arts and cultural organizations.
- To encourage partnerships between arts and cultural organizations with the business community.
- To encourage the integration of arts into all aspects of the City’s economic development.
- To create and promote collaborative multidisciplinary arts events.
- To raise and distribute funds for the arts in Yonkers.
